HOD Message:
The Basic Science and Humanities department (BSH) of Swami Vivekananda Institute of Science & Technology contains different subjects, namely Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English. It also imparts training programme in communication skills, soft skills, organisational behaviour, and personal development. Basic Science and Humanities department believes in a holistic approach for the newly admitted students.
The department has its own Physics, Chemistry and English lab for its students and encourage them to participate in national competitions. It provides scientific lab for Physics, Chemistry and language lab for English. The department organises different training programmes for the students to acquire English knowledge and makes enormous effort to increase their English proficiency skills and improvement in grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation skills to cope up with the competitive job market. The department also delivers the mathematics classes to students. It includes calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, complex analysis, probability distribution, numerical methods, discrete mathematics etc
