স্বামী বিবেকানন্দ ইনস্টিটিউট অফ সায়েন্স অ্যান্ড টেকনোলজিতে পশ্চিমবঙ্গ দিবস উপলক্ষে পশ্চিমবঙ্গের ঐতিহ্য, সংস্কৃতি এবং এই দিবসের তাৎপর্য নিয়ে একটি সেমিনারের আয়োজন করা হয়। সেমিনারে বাংলার সমৃদ্ধ ইতিহাস, সাহিত্য, শিল্প, সংগীত, লোকসংস্কৃতি এবং বাংলার মনীষীদের অসামান্য অবদান সম্পর্কে আলোচনা করা হয়। এই অনুষ্ঠানের মূল উদ্দেশ্য ছিল শিক্ষার্থীদের মধ্যে নিজেদের রাজ্যের গৌরবময় ঐতিহ্য সম্পর্কে সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধি করা এবং সেই ঐতিহ্যকে সংরক্ষণ ও এগিয়ে নিয়ে যাওয়ার অনুপ্রেরণা জাগিয়ে তোলা। এই উদ্যাপন সকলকে পশ্চিমবঙ্গের সাংস্কৃতিক ঐতিহ্যের প্রতি আরও শ্রদ্ধাশীল ও গর্বিত হতে উদ্বুদ্ধ করেছে।
