CSE has 180 seats, the largest at SVIST, followed by ECE with 120, and EEE, Mechanical, Civil and AI & Data Science with 60 each (540 B.Tech seats in total). Seats fill through WBJEE counselling rounds, so enquire early.

Yes. Eligible SVIST students regularly avail SVMCM, the West Bengal Govt.'s merit-cum-means scholarship worth up to ₹60,000/year, along with Aikyashree, OASIS and institute scholarships. The office assists with applications.
