The session will be delivered by Prabhat Das, Co-Founder of StartUp ki Pathshala and associated with Jubilant Agri & Co., who will share real-life experiences, startup insights, and guidance on transforming ideas into impactful ventures.

🎉 Exciting news from SVIST 🎉
We are delighted to share a remarkable achievement by the students of Swami Vivekananda Institute of Science and Technology (SVIST).
Mr. Saugata Samanta and Mr. Najmul Islam Molla, 3rd-year students of the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), have secured the Runner-Up Solution (2nd Position) at the prestigious TECHATHON 3.0. Their innovative solution was recognized among 28 shortlisted best solutions presented by students from various institutions in the second round of the competition.
This significant achievement was accomplished under the able guidance of Dr. Samrat Paul, reflecting SVIST’s strong culture of mentorship, innovation, and research excellence.
The event was organized by the Patent Information Centre, under the West Bengal State Council of Science and Technology, Department of Science & Technology and Biotechnology, Government of West Bengal.

We are thrilled to announce that our bright and innovative students from the Departments of Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) and Mechanical Engineering (ME) have been selected to pitch their newly developed products at the prestigious TECHATHON 3.0.

👉 Only 20 ideas (including 2 ideas from SVIST) selected out of 256 submissions received within just the last two weeks, as confirmed by the organizing committee.

Swami Vivekananda Institute of Science and Technology proudly participated in the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) 2026, hosted by E-Cell IIT Kharagpur from January 30 to February 1, 2026, a premier national platform connecting startups, investors, and industry leaders through keynote sessions, startup pitching, workshops, expos, and high-impact competitions. Our students’ enthusiastic participation showcased SVIST’s strong culture of innovation, leadership, and experiential learning, made possible through the visionary leadership, guidance, and support of the institute’s management, principals, faculty mentors, and staff.
